This being a very large tree, it is hard to get good pictures of the entire tree and roots in the same shot. These are pictures of the entire tree but you can see the roots do not show up well.

At some point a limb was broken but not removed from the main tree. That limb then sent roots out while continuing to be part of the main tree. It makes it look like there is a tree growing on a tree.
